Svenja Staats (1996) is a Dutch classical violinist known on stage for her engaging performances. She has won numerous prizes and awards and has been playing as a soloist at national and international concert venues and festivals in countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Canada, and the United States. Svenja has participated in many master classes led by world renowned violinists such as Jaap van Zweden, Ana Chumachenko, and Leonidas Kavakos and is currently studying for her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance under the guidance of Alexander Kerr at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University (US).
Wesley Taylor is a third year undergraduate studying saxophone performance under the instruction of Dr. Otis Murphy. He is currently the soprano chair in Bloom Quartet and has previously been a member of both Java Quartet and Empyrean Saxophone Quartet. Wesley has premiered six pieces for Indiana University composers throughout his tenure at IU.
